Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences
About
Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SEAMK) is a multidisciplinary institution of higher education and an efficient actor in education and research, development and innovation (RDI) in the region of South Ostrobothnia in West Finland.
Role in the project
SEAMK contributes to NitroScope through its expertise in applied agronomy, farm-level data collection and nitrogen management in boreal agricultural systems. Within WP3, SEAMK supports data collection at regional data collection and farm sites, providing field-based evidence on soil properties, crop performance and nitrogen use efficiency under northern climatic conditions.
SEAMK also supports local stakeholder engagement, working closely with farmers and practitioners to facilitate data collection and exchange practical knowledge on nitrogen management. This applied role helps ensure that NitroScope’s results are relevant, realistic and transferable to farming systems in boreal regions.
