Role in the project
CZU contributes to NitroScope through its expertise in agronomy, soil monitoring and environmental sensing under continental pedo-climatic conditions. Within WP3, CZU supports data collection activities at regional data collection sites, providing high-quality measurements on soil properties, nitrogen dynamics and crop performance.
CZU also contributes to the integration of field data with modelling and remote sensing approaches, helping ensure harmonised datasets and robust calibration of nitrogen flux models used for upscaling to national and European nitrogen budgets.
