About
CESENS develops precision agriculture technologies, offering sensors and data analytics to optimize farming practices and resource management. They will lead activities on cloud architecture and data management, developing an add-on for their existing decision support system (DSS).
Role in the project
CESENS contributes to NitroScope through its expertise in environmental sensing, data acquisition and monitoring systems. Within WP3 and WP5, CESENS supports the deployment, operation and integration of sensor technologies used to monitor soil conditions, nitrogen fluxes and environmental parameters across selected monitoring sites.
In addition, CESENS contributes to the technical integration of monitoring data into digital platforms and modelling workflows, helping ensure data reliability, continuity and usability. Its applied technology background supports the translation of field measurements into robust datasets for analysis, modelling and decision-support development.
